Modified sine wave car inverters
Modified sine
— the graph of such a signal in shape resembles a classical sinusoid only in general terms — the voltage does not change smoothly, but in steps, in jerks. Because of this, models with an approximated (modified) sine wave are not suitable for powering some types of electrical appliances (in particular, high-end audio equipment). On the other hand, there are not so many such incompatible devices, and those that can be useful in a car are even fewer among them; in most cases, the stepped waveform does not play a special role. Of the obvious advantages of this option, it is worth mentioning the simplicity and low cost of auto-inverters.modified sine | clear | Save List |
