— in this case, a cable means a special kind of wire, with flat contacts designed to be mounted in battery terminals. Unlike "crocodiles" (see the relevant paragraph), this option is suitable for inverters of almost any capacity — the mentioned contacts provide a safe and reliable connection, suitable even for high currents. The reverse side of this reliability is the increased (compared to the same "crocodiles") complexity of connecting and disconnecting cables.
