Battery power is very convenient for autonomous units with low power and productivity: in particular, it allows you to create more affordable and lighter designs than with gasoline engines. Most of these tools are initially equipped with batteries, but even in such cases it may be necessary to purchase a separate battery — for example, in case of loss or failure of the "native" power source, or to increase battery life and the ability to work without interruption (on the principle: while one battery is used, the other one is charging). And some units are supplied without power sources at all — in the expectation that the user chooses the battery at his discretion.
