Brushless motor

The main advantage of such engines over classic collectors is considered to be high efficiency — which, in turn, allows you to develop higher power and work longer on a single battery charge. In addition, brushless motors are lighter, more compact and resist dirt better. Their main drawback is their high cost; in addition, the design of such a motor is quite complex, and it is almost impossible to “tune” or repair it on your own. Accordingly, brushless motors are typical mainly for premium models.

Note that the same device can be produced in two versions — with a collector and brushless motor; the first variety in such cases is labeled "brushed", the second — "brushless".
