Swedish wall ladders

— in this case, we mean a rigid ladder, in which both the crossbeams and vertical supports are made of solid materials (as opposed to a rope one — see the relevant paragraph). Initially, the ladder was the basis of any Swedish wall, but today there are models where it is not provided — a gladiator net can be used instead (see the relevant paragraph). However, there are few such models and a rigid ladder in one form or another is available in the vast majority of Swedish walls. This is a fairly versatile equipment that can be used in children's fun, in strength exercises, in stretching, and in rehabilitation (for example, hanging to stretch the spine).
