Float rigs

— ready-made sets of equipment for fishing with a float method.

In the most simple terms, float equipment is the whole set of gear that is attached to the rod. Such a set includes at least a fishing line, a hook, a float and a sinker; in addition, additional equipment may be provided, such as, for example, a leash.

The main advantage of float rigs is the maximum ease of use: just attach the fishing line to the rod and you can start fishing. On the other hand, ready-made tooling is usually sold "as is", without the ability to pick up individual parts at your discretion. Therefore, such kits are used mainly by beginners or undemanding anglers who do not want to bother with the selection of gear on their own and appreciate not so much the catch as the fishing process itself.
