Grinding

— a mode that provides for suction (see the relevant paragraph) and further grinding of the collected garbage; only after that the collected is sent to the trash can. Grinding not only reduces the volume of garbage, allowing more rational use of the space inside the bin, but also makes it possible to use ground organics as fertilizer.
