Batteries for water transport
— batteries originally designed for scooters, boats, motor boats and other water vehicles. Under such operating conditions, batteries are subject to both increased corrosion (from water, salt, temperature changes) and other negative influences — primarily vibrations and strong rolls. All this is taken into account in the design: the batteries have improved tightness, allow tilts up to 90 ° (for some, “on the side” can generally be a regular working position), and the terminals are made of moisture-resistant alloys and often have a special “boat” design based on bolts. However, there are also contacts of a more familiar, “automobile” format.
