Dips for fishing
Dips
— deeps are compositions, mostly dry, into which a boilie (see the relevant paragraph) or other nozzle is dipped before casting. Adhering powder particles dissolve in water, forming a cloud around the nozzle and attracting fish with aroma and taste.Note that some anglers use dips in a non-standard way — by mixing with bait or nozzle, in the manner of additives. This use is also allowed: fishing is a creative and diverse process, and sometimes non-standard methods work best.
