— 2-pin base with 23mm pin spacing and 2mm pin diameter. Unlike G4 and G9 (see the relevant paragraphs), it is mainly used in fluorescent lamps, and of a rather specific design — with an oblong bulb bent in the shape of the letter U. Accordingly, table lamps with such bases have an elongated shape of the working part and are designed for "Daylight Lamps"
