Brightness control

— the ability to adjust the brightness of the lamp. The convenience of this function as a whole is obvious: it allows you to adjust the lamp to your own preferences and specifics of the situation. For example, a brighter light may be useful for working with printed documents, while the lighting can be dimmed for watching a movie on a laptop. However, note that not all replaceable bulbs are able to work normally in lamps with dimmers. Therefore, in models with a cartridge (see "Light source"), this function is rarely found; and if you buy such a lamp, you should pay special attention to the choice of light sources for it.
