— dispensing hot water. It is assumed that a device with this function, in most cases, may well replace a kettle or other heater. At the same time, the advantage of coolers and purifiers is that hot water comes out of them immediately there is no need to wait for heating. Of course, the performance in this mode is not infinite (for more details, see "Heating"), but for most simple situations (for example, tea brewing for 2 – 3 people), it is usually quite enough. But the unequivocal disadvantage of models with a heating function is that the temperature of the water they give out usually does not exceed 95 °C. It is sufficient for the mentioned tea, most instant drinks, soup bags, instant noodles, etc. However, for some purposes — for example, brewing ground coffee — a higher temperature is required. However, the cooler/purifier can be useful as a preheating system: the hot water drawn from it can be brought to the desired temperature in the same electric kettle.
