DMZ routers
DMZ
— DMZ (“demilitarized zone”) in its classic form is a local network segment that is open to outside access and separated from the rest of the “local area” by a firewall. This allows you to use functions that require a direct connection to the Internet, while maintaining the security of your internal network. A simplified version, DMZ-host, involves direct access from an external network to one of the servers without isolating it from local resources (a simpler, but less secure type of DMZ). In our catalog, the DMZ function is indicated for all routers that support at least one of the described modes; the specific specifics of a particular model should be clarified according to the detailed characteristics.Show
