— washers with electric motors powered by batteries — sometimes built-in, more often removable, and some models are supplied without batteries at all (see the "Battery" list for more details).Specifically, electric motors are used in most modern HP washes. They have a number of advantages over another option — internal combustion engines (ICE): electric motors are simpler and cheaper both in design and in operation / maintenance, are less heavy and more compact, have a lower noise level and do not create exhaust gases during operation. As for battery power, its main advantage is independence from external energy sources — and, accordingly, the ability to work even “out of civilization”, in the absence of power grids. On the other hand, devices in this category tend to be heavier and more expensive than similar mains-powered sinks. In addition, the power of battery models is low — it rarely exceeds 200 W, and even in the heaviest models it does not even reach 2 kW. Thus, it makes sense to pay attention to this option in cases where you need a standalone device without special power requirements; if performance is no less important than mobility, you should pay attention to fuel-powered solutions (see the relevant paragraph).
Another nuance of battery washes is that the operating time on a charge is inevitably limited. However, in many models, this moment is partly offset by the use of the above-mentioned removable batteries; moreover, we are usually not talking about some unique power sources, but about standard batteries of one manufacturer or another, which are also used in power tools and other equipment. For more details, again, see "Battery".
