— the minisink has its own heater for hot water. Typically, such a heater runs on fuel (for example, fuel oil), even if the sink itself is equipped with an electric motor — this provides sufficient heating efficiency without increasing power consumption.

With some types of pollution — for example, oil or fat — it is best to deal with hot water; in addition, it is useful in winter for melting ice and snow. However, it is not always possible to connect hot water supply to the minisink; in such cases, a built-in water heater will come in handy. However such equipment significantly affects the dimensions and price of the device, and therefore it is found mainly in professional models (see "Type").
