Automatic detection of the user
— some floor models of scales, equipped with both multiple memory slots (refer to "User Memory") and advanced diagnostic features (see "Diagnostic Measurements"), offer the convenience of automatically identifying the user who steps on them. These scales "remember" the user by measuring various body parameters (such as current weight, muscle and fat percentages, bone density, metabolic rate, etc., depending on the model). When a person stands on the scales, the device recognizes them and loads the corresponding user profile, allowing for data recording, result comparisons, and other relevant functions.This function offers convenience by eliminating the need for users to go through extra steps, such as manually searching for their profile in the scale's memory. However, it's worth noting that even the most advanced auto-detection systems are not entirely foolproof, and there's a rare possibility of confusion when individuals with similar diagnostic characteristics use the device.
