Read/write indicator

— an indicator (usually a light one) that signals reading or writing information to a flash drive. During the exchange of information, it is forbidden to disconnect the flash drive in order to avoid damage to information and to the drive; the read/write indicator allows to determine whether such an exchange is taking place and, accordingly, whether it is possible to turn off the flash drive.
