Flash drive Transcend JetFlash 790 64Gb. Purchased in the fall of 2019. Judging by the rave reviews of past years, it was better before... The reading speed is still high - it holds a hundred, but with recording it’s no longer a cake. At first it cheerfully shows 35-40 (about three seconds) and then sadly fluctuates 20-25... Not everything is in order with the declared size either. The system defines it as 60 Gb, but only 56Gb is available, which is less than what other manufacturers offer. In the vast majority of flash drives with a capacity of 64Gb, approximately 59Gb are available. I didn’t expect this from Transcend... I've been using the JetFlash 790 64 GB for about 2 years and haven't found any major drawbacks. The data transfer speed is quite acceptable, especially if you format it in NTFS. As for the design, I was slightly disappointed with the play in the sliding mechanism. Over time, I found the need for a flash drive with a larger capacity, like 128 or 256 GB. After studying the market, I decided to buy the same model with 128 GB, as the price-to-quality ratio was optimal. When I connected both flash drives of this model, 64 GB and 128 GB, to the computer, I noticed that the 128 GB version lacks a light indicator. This may not be critical, but such a feature should be described when listing specifications on websites. "In model TS128GJF790K, the light indicator is ABSENT" Value for money. The sliding mechanism is terrible. Don't buy this model Regular flash drive Very poor connection mechanism, if you insert it all the way into the socket until it stops, the flash drive is not read. My LG TV 42LB620V does not recognize it, maximum 32 GB. |
