Turntables with electronic speed control
Electronic
— electronic speed shifting refers to changing speed with the press of a button. The absence of this function in direct-drive turntables means they support only one speed (usually 33 RPM), whereas, with a belt drive (see "Design"), the rotation speed can also be changed mechanically by moving the belt to another pulley. However, mechanical adjustment has not become widespread—it is less convenient and doesn't offer significant advantages over electronic adjustment.electronic | clear | Save List |
