— this option provides the presence of positive and negative contacts that need to be connected to their place — moreover, for some electrodes (and welding work) a "minus" on the electrode and a "plus" on the workpiece are required, for others — vice versa. All this requires care from the welder. On the other hand, DC welding is “smoother” and more accurate, the arc is more stable, and in general this method is suitable for all types of work (see “Type of welding”).
