MMA

— the simplest type of welding used today. All operations are carried out manually, no shielding gas is used, and the effect of ambient air is neutralized solely by the combustion of a special electrode coating. The main advantage of MMA is undemanding to the quality of the current and the design of the welding machine. On the other hand, a certain skill is required to create a sufficiently high-quality seam, and even with it, the seam turns out to be quite rough. In addition, MMA is mainly used with ferrous metals, it is poorly suited for other materials.
