However, anyway, ceiling-mounted hoods do not depend on walls and can be placed anywhere in the kitchen. Unless it is worth considering that the built-in models will be at a rather high height, and such devices are poorly suited for “target ventilation” above the stove (although they can be effective as a general hood for the room).
