Island

— island hoods do not depend on the walls and can be placed anywhere on the ceiling. Such a device is perfect for a kitchen in which the stove or hob is not adjacent to the walls but is located in the centre of the room. But for wall placement, island models are not recommended: there are more suitable types of hoods, which, moreover, are much cheaper.
