— a type of disposable recordable Blu-ray disc that has two working layers instead of one. The general features of BD-R are described in the relevant paragraph, but here we note that the two-layer layout allows you to increase the volume of such media accordingly — from 25 to 50 GB. The discs remain compatible with all Blu-ray drives.
