At the beginning of this decade, the American manufacturer of expensive computer cases NZXT announced a global update of its model range. In addition to the classic H Refresh gaming cases, the company announced several new subseries with the H prefix. The result is the following picture: the H1 line includes unusual compact chassis with a pre-installed power supply and life support system; cases marked H5 and H6, by brand standards, are rather average level, H9 are purebred products for enthusiasts.

Visually and structurally, the H5 cases repeat the NZXT H200, H500 and other recent hits of the company: the design here is as neat as possible, the modular design is extremely flexible, there is a viewing window on the side, and a deck below to hide the power supply and drives. The difference is that the H5's front door and ceiling are made of mesh material, through which hot air escapes more freely. And inside, as a rule, 3 or 4 fans are already pre-installed, so the potential user does not need to take additional care of case cooling.

Otherwise, these are the same well-recognized Midi Tower cases with the highest build quality, excellent ventilation, thoughtful cable management, optional lighting, rich interior decoration and stylish appearance. All of them are equipped with dust filters, inspection windows, replaceable drive trays, clearance for discreet cable routing, and a window for changing the processor cooler or the processor itself. Despite belonging to the Midi Tower format, most NZXT H5 cases support the installation of massive E-ATX boards.
