ESATA cases
ESATA
— the presence of at least one eSATA connector on the front panel.eSATA is a specialized interface for connecting external drives, primarily hard drives. The convenience of this interface lies, in particular, in the fact that a drive connected via eSATA does not take up USB ports that may be needed for other peripherals. The maximum data transfer rate with this connection is 2.4 Gbps (half the speed of USB 3.0, but five times the speed of USB 2.0), hot-swappable drives are allowed.
