We've always enjoyed falling asleep without a rainfly to a view of the moon and stars, but inclement weather can interrupt a blissful night at a moment's notice, forcing us to scramble through the dark as we attempt to cover our gear. For that reason, we employ the Big Agnes Accessory Fly for the Copper Hotel HV UL2 when the sky is anything but spotless. Its lightweight design adds minimal load to our pack, and increases valuable vestibule space for equipment or even a four-legged friend. Strategic fly vents boost airflow on humid summer nights when rain has yet to fall.

When we car camp and need more space we rig up the Kelty Waypoint Screeenhouse Tarp. This tarp attaches to just about any car to set up a large vestibule or cooking space outside of your cozy and dry adventure rig.
