The Kyocera ECOSYS range combines laser MFPs built on a fundamentally different technology compared to traditional cartridge devices. The main feature of all models is the durable amorphous silicon drum, which provides a long-lasting printing resource, high durability, and low cost per printed page. Instead of the usual cartridges, the main consumable is a toner tube, which reduces operating costs and waste.


The ECOSYS technology significantly reduces the cost of ownership: when the toner runs out, there is no need to replace the entire cartridge ― the drum and developer continue to work. The durable components usually have an extended warranty (up to three years depending on the region and model), making them an excellent solution for large offices with high workloads. The wear-resistant amorphous silicon drum does not degrade over time, unlike organic coatings in regular cartridges, ensuring consistently high print quality.

The ECOSYS model range covers a wide spectrum of solutions: from compact monochrome MFPs for small businesses with a speed of 20 – 40 pages per minute to high-performance color devices in A4 and A3 formats with speeds up to 30 – 35 pages per minute. Most models support duplex printing and network connections, and the higher-end versions are equipped with Wi-Fi modules for mobile printing. Also, most MFPs in this series are equipped with built-in fax, as well as supporting auto-scanning and duplex printing.
