Diopter adjustment

— the ability to adjust the optics of the glasses to the user's vision characteristics, most often for compensating nearsightedness or farsightedness within a specified range. Diopter adjustment is needed so that the virtual screen, text, menu, and small interface elements appear sharper without the mandatory installation of separate corrective lenses.

This feature is especially useful for AR glasses where the user spends a long time looking at a virtual screen in front of their eyes: a blurred image quickly fatigues the eyes and hinders reading text. However, diopter adjustment does not always replace regular glasses or individual lenses because the adjustment range is limited, and in cases of astigmatism or complex correction, a special optical insert may be necessary.
