Proximity sensor

— a sensor that determines whether the glasses are on the user's face or nearby. It is not for recognizing the surrounding environment, but for automatic device control: the glasses can turn on the display when worn, turn it off after being removed, pause video, or switch to power-saving mode. In real use, such a sensor makes the glasses more convenient and economical, especially if the user frequently takes them off during work, walks, or content viewing.
