Headphone output

— a connector (usually a standard 3.5 mm mini-jack) on the speaker cabinet that allows you to connect headphones to your computer through them. Thus, you can use the headphones without having to switch the plugs on the sound card connectors once again. In addition, in the case of desktop PCs, it is much more convenient to connect headphones to the speakers on the table than to the system unit, which is often placed under the table (especially since some “ears” may simply not have enough wire length to work from the system unit).
