Color inkjet printers from Epson combine high print quality and versatility. They allow achieving results that are close to professional printing. A4 and A3 format devices create bright, rich, and detailed photographs, especially when working with glossy or satin paper. Unlike standard models with a four-color scheme, the printers in this line use six shades of ink, which ensures more accurate and natural color reproduction.


All representatives of this line are equally suitable for printing at home as well as for work in small offices and print labs. An important distinctive feature of the line is the ability to connect via USB port, LAN, or wirelessly (Wi-Fi 4), optional support for Wi-Fi Direct and AirPrint, as well as compatibility with Epson's cloud printing services (Epson iPrint and Epson Email Print). The downside is the low print speed and cartridge costs, as there's no Epson CISS system provided here.

The range of the series looks as concise and conservative as possible, and new models are released once in almost every 10 years. The model lineup for fall 2025 features only 2 models: XP-65, which succeeds the "old-timer" XP-55, and XP-15000. The Epson XP-55 is a simpler and more affordable model in A4 format with a maximum resolution of 5760x1440 dpi, printing speed of up to 32 pages per minute, and support for printing from optical disks. In turn, the more expensive Epson XP-15000 can handle larger A3 paper, has a resolution of 5760x1440 dpi, prints at a speed of 29 pages per minute, and in addition to printing from CDs/DVDs, it supports duplex printing. It is also additionally equipped with a small display.
