A family of classic entry-level LED TVs that offer decent picture quality and support for all the latest Android TV smart features, but otherwise lack the stars in the sky. In particular, they cannot boast of complex image processing algorithms, increased hertz and advanced gaming features. Rather, they are traditional 4K + 60Hz + HDR TV panels that you usually buy to watch a new movie release or a fresh episode of your favorite show on Netflix in the evening.

The 2022 LG QNED lineup is dominated by panels ranging from 50 to 86 inches. In technical terms, they differ only in design, the number of ports and the presence of a smart remote control in the kit. If we compare the 2021 and 2022 LG UQ panels, we will see several significant changes. First of all, the new Alpha 5 Gen 5 auxiliary processor catches the eye, which helps with image upscaling and artificial fine-tuning of brightness, contrast and color reproduction.

Secondly, we should note the progress of the proprietary webOS smart shell, which added several important functions and services that brand fans have long been asking for. In particular, webOS introduced the ability to use multiple accounts, the “room to room share” sharing function, and an analogue of the Always On Display function, thanks to which the TV can display the time and play music even when it is turned off. Also in the shell appeared LIVENow services with online concerts, a virtual dance floor 1M HomeDance and a built-in fitness platform Fitness.
