The 101 XPLR 700c Carbon Wheel offers a lot, but the main thing is that this wheel can provide a smooth, magic carpet-esque ride over harsh terrain. The 101 XPLR (short for explorer) is Zipp's first purpose-built wheelset for gravel. It prepares us for choppy roads and gravel paths with more control and durability, and especially with larger tubeless tires at lower tire pressures. Less fatigue allows us to ride longer and faster, and a reduced chance of pinch flats keeps us in the saddle.

It can handle training on a wide range of terrain, and it's perfectly designed for aero efficiency thanks to a 58-millimeter rim depth with proven crosswind stability. This wheel's ABLC Sawtooth dimple design helps manage airflow around the rim with the result being a faster and more stable wheel, and we like that Zipp designed it with the durable, ZR1 DB, German engineered hubset.
