Blinds

— a type of window curtain with a rigid structure. The blinds are based on lamellas connected in a row, which can move up and down, as well as rotate around its axis at an angle from 0 to 90˚. The angle of rotation determines the light transmission of the window curtain. So, the lamellas turned by 90˚ completely block the window, and those set to the 0˚ position practically do not block the light flux from the window at all.

Blinds can be either manual or electric. Additionally, they can be classified according to the type of slats: there are models with horizontal and vertical slats. In turn, the lamellas themselves can be made of dense textiles, plastic, wood and metal.
