The main difference between roller shutters and blinds is the complete coverage of the light flux by the canvas, while the blinds can be adjusted to the optimal light transmission mode.

There are manual and electric shutters. In manual models, the winding of the roll is realized by the force of a tensioned spring or by a cord drive, while electric ones wind the web on the motor shaft and often support operation from the remote control.
