Perpendicular handles

— additional device found in equipment with a horizontal bar function (see "Product type"). It looks like a pair of small horizontal handles protruding forward from the crossbar.

On a regular crossbar, an athlete can pull himself up with a classic straight grip, sometimes also with a narrow reverse grip. “Horns”, by the name, also allow the use of a “perpendicular grip”, when the fists, when held by the horizontal bar, are rotated 90 ° relative to the direct grip. This expands the possibilities for training, allowing you to perform exercises that are not available on a regular horizontal bar.
