Frame lock

— in this case, we mean bicycle locks used to fasten the rear wheel to the frame and prevent the wheel from rotating. Usually, they have the shape of a ring, hence another name for such products — O-lock. Of the practical advantages of the lock on the frame, one can only note compactness and the corresponding ease of carrying. But it is hardly worth considering it as the main anti-theft tool: a bicycle with such a lock can still be carried away, and then the lock can be opened in a quiet place. It is best to use O-lock as an aid to prevent the theft of wheels from a bike secured with a more secure lock.
