The Alpine Astronomical Baader 2.25x/1.3x Classic Q-Barlow, which is intended to give you more magnification and use possibilities than a conventional Barlow, will be a useful addition to your planetary observation set.The front lens cell can be unscrewed from the main body and threaded onto the filter threads of an eyepiece to increase its magnification by just 1.3x. When used with the companion Baader Q-Turret eyepiece turret, the cell can be installed on the single lower barrel to increase the magnification of any 1.25" barrel eyepiece by a factor of 2.25x by simply dropping the eyepiece into the Barlow's holder.
