Actually, dumbbell toys are in many ways (including in shape) similar to bone toys, except that the protrusions at the ends of the dumbbells are noticeably thicker, they often resemble two balls put on one handle. A squeaker can be installed inside such a product, providing additional interest from the pet; and the outer surface in some models is covered with sharp-looking, but safe spikes — they provide the effect of massage and cleaning the oral cavity, that is useful and even pleasant for the dog.
