Coaxial S/PDIF

— digital audio output with the capability to transmit multichannel sound. It uses an RCA-type connector; however, S/PDIF outputs are fundamentally different from RCA outputs (see the relevant section) — firstly, in the type of signal (digital, not analog), and secondly, in the number of connectors (in S/PDIF, one connector is responsible for all sound channels). Additionally, a regular RCA cable for a coaxial interface is not suitable — a shielded cable must be used.
