ACU Gold certified motorcycle helmets

ACU Gold

— a standard originally developed by the British Motorcycling Federation (ACU, Auto-Cycle Union) for internal use — helmets used in official ACU competitions must have such a certificate. At the same time, to get ACU Gold, you need to pass quite serious tests; in fact, this standard is the most stringent of the massively used. For example, a helmet must meet at least the ECE 22.05 or Snell 2005 standard, after which it may be subject to additional checks. Thanks to this severity, ACU Gold has become known outside of Britain as a symbol of a fairly high level of protection.
