The speaker from the famous Japanese manufacturer Yamaha can be used separately or as part of a MusicCast wireless stereo system, home theater or multi-room audio system. This is a fairly compact audio system with an oval-shaped body, dimensions 186x150x130 mm and weighing just over 2 kg. It does not take up much space, and if desired, you can even hang it on the wall - there is a special hole on the back of the case for mounting.

A convenient touch panel is provided for control, and access to more extensive settings is available in the proprietary MusicCast application when synchronized with a smartphone, tablet and other gadgets. For wireless connectivity, the Yamaha WX-021 offers Wi-Fi 4, Bluetooth 4.2 and AirPlay, there is also a LAN port, Internet radio and access to various streaming services with music, audiobooks and podcasts.

And with any Amazon Echo device, you can interact with Alexa, a virtual assistant, to give voice commands and remotely control your smart home appliances. The speaker is equipped with a 9-centimeter woofer and a tweeter with a diameter of 13 mm, as well as a passive low-frequency radiator. The total system power is 40 W. If this is not enough, combine the two speakers into a single stereo pair. In addition, an alarm clock and a sleep timer will be useful functions.
