A small and relatively inexpensive computer case with fairly large capabilities. This chassis is designed for those users who want a compact PC with the performance of a complete gaming system. The Mini Tower platform is well suited to install a compact Micro-ATX or mini-ITX motherboard, but at the same time there is enough space in the case to accommodate powerful hardware. Thus, it is permissible to use a high-performance dual-slot graphics card up to 350 mm long as discrete graphics, and a tower up to 155 mm high can be used to cool the central processor.
The Thermaltake Versa H17 case has one pre-installed 120mm fan. In total there is room for five impellers with a diameter of 120/140 mm. Despite the compact size, the platform is ready to accommodate a pair of low-profile liquid cooling radiators from the all-in-one category. The front panel is represented by an elegant aluminium surface with a grinding effect. The compact form factor did not become an obstacle for the case to acquire the two-tier design that is fashionable today. In the lower section, insulated with a metal casing, there is a place for a power supply, and a rack for hard drives is mounted next to it. This case has a modification with a viewing window made of high-quality acrylic — Thermaltake Versa H17 Window.

A good case if you are limited in funds (True, it will not allow you to neglect case turntables, they will be needed here) Appearance, set of front panel ports, PSU shroud, HDD mounting on standoffs (No vibration), removable dust filters on top and bottom, unscrewable expansion slot covers, ability to install 5 fans simultaneously (3 in front and one each on top and rear, minimum 120mm and maximum 140mm, but only 3x120mm fit in front), rubberized feet, illuminated power button. The lack of AIO mounting is not considered a disadvantage as the case allows for a sufficiently large tower. The airflow will only be acceptable if all possible spots are filled with fans (used 5 at 120mm), otherwise, even with stock, the temperatures weren't that bad. There is no dust filter for the front fans, and there's also an opening under the front fans that often sucks in some paper and makes noise, so you have to reach inside, which is not very convenient. It is difficult (or rather scary) to remove the front panel, but without it, the fans cannot be installed; it has plastic pegs that need to be squeezed first to remove. Cleaning from dust is difficult, I do it often, so I have to remove half of the PC. |
A good case made from quality material, thanks to which it feels quite sturdy Rich set of accessories from ties to vibration pads under hard drives (HDD) Expansion slots do not break out like on budget cases but are secured with screws Convenient cable management Appearance If you aim to assemble a high-performance system, you should consider the option with a mesh front panel, as in this version the air intake slits are extremely small, which is not visible in the photo. use Thermaltake Versa H17 more than year |
Excellent case, I recommend it, worth the money, strict design. Change the fan immediately and buy 3 more pcs. there will be a fairy tale. Compact Everything fits despite the small case, two 3.5 and 2 SSDs fit in well. Easy to install. Plenty of space for cable management and there are mesh covers everywhere. But the most pleasing were the holders for the drives. The standard cooler, although quiet, has very little of it and blows out little air. |
