A folding knife by Spyderco is a mid-budget solution for everyday carry. The model is notable for its combined cutting edge — smooth closer to the tip and serrated — at the handle. The Spyderco Byrd Cara Cara 2 FRN Combo knife has a 95-mm blade with a thickness of 3 mm at the spine.

The blade is made of high-quality 8Cr13MoV alloy — a popular stainless steel in the knife industry with an affordable price, good cutting characteristics and durability. The hardness level is declared at 56 HRC, which allows you to count on long-term preservation of the original factory sharpening with a subsequent simple procedure for restoring the sharpness of the cutting edge (at least for its smooth part).

The handle of the model is made of FRN fiberglass: this material is lightweight (the total weight of the product is 108 grams), comfortable at any air temperature, and is not afraid of moisture. Additional features include a textured surface on the pads and a finger groove for a secure grip, a reliable back lock for blocking the blade, and a hole for pulling the lanyard through.
