Sony's 2022 flagship 55-inch Ultra HD 4K TV is a model with a unique QD-OLED matrix. The screen is based on blue organic LEDs, and a filter with quantum dots is used as an addition. The image on such a display is characterized by excellent contrast and uniformity of dark tones, has excellent viewing angles and extended color gamut, as well as a significantly increased margin of brightness compared to conventional OLED solutions.
The latter feature, among other things, allows you to maximize all the advantages of HDR content (support for the premium Dolby Vision standard is declared here). The Sony XR-55A95K TV is suitable for a variety of application scenarios: here you can watch movies in a darkened room, arrange a group viewing of sports, enjoy any content in a well-lit room. As befits a premium product, TV is aimed at gamers.
A matrix with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a minimum response time and low input lag, is complemented by the presence of HDMI 2.1 ports, demanded by owners of next-gen consoles. The smart platform of the model is Google TV with a user-friendly interface, a rich set of applications for installation, support for Chromecast and AirPlay 2 technologies, as well as voice control functions that are increasingly popular today. Additional features include a one-piece Dual Style stand, thanks to which the TV can be placed close to the wall or on the edge of the table.
