A tiny card reader that barely sticks out beyond your computer or laptop’s USB port. The device measures just 30x21x9 mm. It plugs into a USB-A port and works with both USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps) and the older USB 2.0. Of course, the highest data transfer speed is achieved when your computer has a matching USB 3.2 Gen 1 port. SanDisk MobileMate USB 3.0 is designed for reading and writing data to microSD cards. There is a slot for one microSD card at the top edge of the reader. The specs mention file copy speeds of around 170 MB/s. The device takes up virtually no space when stored or carried, and it’s automatically recognized by all popular operating systems with Plug and Play. The card reader comes with a limited 2-year warranty from the manufacturer.
