PreSonus HD7 are budget full-size semi-open headphones, in which the manufacturer promises natural studio sound without overpayments. The headphones have 50mm dynamic drivers with neodymium magnets that try to sound honest and natural, voicing the music exactly as it was recorded, and not change the sound by coloring some frequency spectrum. However, the model belongs to the entry level, it costs less than many household headphones, so you should not expect really studio quality from it.

It is best suited for beginners and people who are looking for neutral-sounding headphones without distortion towards bass or crystal-clear highs. The headband of the device is made in the style of headphones from AKG with a thin arcuate metal frame, a self-adjusting leatherette membrane and massive ear cushions. The ear cushions are made of leatherette, comfortably cover the ears and do not put much pressure on the ears.

The headphones are equipped with a detachable three-meter cable with a 3.5 mm mini-jack and a 6.3 mm adapter. Thus, they can be easily connected to any studio and consumer audio equipment, including mixing consoles, sound cards, synthesizers, as well as smartphones, tablets, laptops and portable players. The speaker impedance is only 32 ohms and does not require a powerful amplifier to play at its full potential.
