Olympus 40-150mm f/2.8 ED Pro M.Zuiko Digital

A fast autofocus telephoto lens with a constant high maximum aperture of f/2.8 throughout the entire zoom range. The model is sharpened for sharing with mirrorless cameras of the Micro 4/3 system - Olympus and Panasonic cameras. The full frame equivalent provides coverage of focal lengths from 80 to 300 mm, which makes it possible to shoot distant objects from decent distances.

The lens wears the Pro prefix, which unequivocally hints at the professional nature of the telephoto. In addition, the model received a dust and moisture protection of the case, a foot for mounting on a tripod and a hood. Optically, the Olympus 40-150mm f/2.8 ED Pro is built using a 16-element-in-10-group formula with a litany of special lenses to improve image quality. There are two control elements in the lens: a wide zoom ring located closer to the mount, and a narrow focusing ring at the front lens. Light filters with a diameter of 72 mm are installed on the front frame of the telephoto. The lens adds about 880 g of its own weight to the mass of the "carcass" of the camera.
