Among the many smartphones of the same type, devices from the company “Nothing Limited” stand out for their uniqueness. The Phone 2a is a serious competitor in the mid-range segment of mobile devices.
LED glyphs
While smartphones are usually judged by their screen, this model is notable for its rear panel. The back cover is made of translucent plastic. On the back panel there are LED glyphs - three LED strips that respond to notifications, blink in time with the music being played, and display volume changes and timer operation. The glyphs glow white - the manufacturer deliberately abandoned RGB lighting for its own ideological reasons.
Strong medium segment
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a dynamic refresh rate from 30 to 120 Hz. The display covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space and has a resolution of 2412x1080 pixels. The hardware of Nothing Phone 2a belongs to the middle class - its “heart” is the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset combined with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory.
Two for fifty
The smartphone is equipped with a main camera with two 50 MP sensors: a stabilized main one and an ultra-wide-angle one. The model supports 45 W fast charging (charger sold separately), NFC and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The smartphone is promised updates to the “pure” Android OS for 3 years, and security patches for 4 years from the date of release.
